The grapple saw is an innovative forestry machine which combines the functionality of the chainsaw with the grasping capability of a grapple. Mounted to an excavator, the grapple saw provides a forestry machine which is unrivalled in terms of reach, accuracy & control, allowing us to complete complex tasks more safely & efficiently. Traditional methods of tree surgery require operators to be in close proximity to the materials being cut, often operating at elevated heights to complete such works depending on requirements.

The grapple saw enables us to maximise the safety of our team through enabling operators to maintain a safe distance, reducing the risk of accidents. Similarly, the versatility of the grapple saw further ensures safety during tree surgery, as it has greater capability of handling a wide range of challenging applications including the removal of dead and/or rotting trees. This is due to the grapple saw’s secure grip on tree sections prior to cutting allowing for a controlled removal process.
